Gazelles Netball Club
Home      Uniforms

We have now had our first season in our new bodysuit and don't those teams who have changed over look great!

Due to the two year phasing in period, our old uniform can still be worn for 2010 if the team so decides.  Please note that the whole team must wear the same uniform.  You can not have some in new bodysuits and others in the old uniform.  The players should wear black or navy sports briefs under the skirt, white socks and white runners.  Please note that the socks must cover the ankles.  Additionally bike pants at/below skirt level are not acceptable.  Soft sun visors (made from fabric like wetsuit material) can be worn and are advisable for games in the middle of the day.  They should be navy blue but dark green is also acceptable.  No other hats can be worn.  They are available for purchase from the canteen at the courts or for a couple of dollars cheaper, the Sydney Netball Shop at 44/7 Hoyle Ave, Castle Hill.

We have recently introduced Gazelles socks.  They are available in two lengths for $10 a pair.

We also have our navy polar fleece top for those cold winter days.  It is embroidered with the words Gazelles Netball Club and is a very high quality, thick fleece to keep out those winter chills!  Umpires should take note that they can wear this top on the court as it is part of our official uniform.  The jumper is available from the gazebo on Saturdays.  Please also consider keeping your white Gazelles playing top.  It can be worn over the top of the bodysuit when umpiring.

Uniforms are available from our uniform officer, Sandy Smuc. She brings along a selection to registration and grading days for players needing to update their sizes. If you are a new player it is recommended you contact Sandy as soon as you have registered to ensure your size is in stock well before the commencement of the season. This allows time for ordering as it can take 6 weeks for new uniforms to come through.

All jewellery (including any style earrings and other body piercings) must be removed before the commencement of play for the player’s safety.

Fingernails must be clipped short and are inspected by the umpires before the commencement of play.
