I am still looking for more girls willing to cover the modified rules games every now and again at 8.00am or 12.05pm. We have 5 modified games to cover every week so it would be great to share the games around a bit more. I can send you a guide to modified rules - they're not hard games to umpire and they are lots of fun!

Also, if you have not been allocated any morning games as yet and would like some, please email me your availability and I will allocate some games to you.

News from Netball NSW.......the Umpires Section 1 Theory Exam is now available online. No more going out to Kellyville at night to complete the exam - you can now do it in the privacy and comfort of your own home!

The exam is based entirely on the new rule book and the questions are taken straight from the U for Umpiring book (both are available at the canteen at Kellyville for $12 and $14).

The online exam provides instant results and a printable certificate. No one will know if you fail and you can try again until you pass! Once you have passed and printed off a certificate, could you please forward me a copy.

I would encourage all umpires, players, coaches and even parents to complete this online exam - having rules knowledge is a powerful tool in our game of netball.
