- The Junior Division runs for girls turning 10 years, 11 years, 12 years, 13 years or 14 years in the year of play.
- Girls turning 14 can play Juniors in the 14 year old competition or Cadets.
- This is a graded competition. For the benefit of the players and the teams, Gazelles grades all junior teams where there is more than one team in that age group. Players are required to attend grading night where applicable.
- Full rules are played and a size 5 ball used from this age group onwards.
- Junior games consist of four quarters of 12 minutes each, with a 3 minute break at half time and a 2 minute break at quarter and three quarter times.
- All junior games are played at a fixed morning timeslot each week.
Timeslots are not allocated by the Association until after the teams are registered. They can vary from year to year depending on the number of teams in an age group. We are unable to provide you with definitive timeslots until they are allocated by BHSNA just prior to the commencement of the season.
